Microsoft today released the new Office for Mac build (Version 16.14.180602) for Slow Ring Insiders. This build comes with new features for Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Some of the new features include Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) support, Microsoft Translator integration, Learning Tools support and more. Read about them in detail below.
Learning Tools improve readability (Word): Give your eyes a rest. Adjust text spacing, column width, and page color. Or listen as Word reads your document aloud, highlighting text as it’s read.
Fill data in a flash (Excel): Give Flash Fill a few examples, and it will fill your data for you.
Break the language barrier (Excel and PowerPoint): Translate words, phrases, or sentences in another language with Microsoft Translator.
Hyperlinks in living colors (PowerPoint): Hyperlinks aren’t just blue anymore. Apply any font color you like.
Create a signature they’ll remember (Outlook): Express yourself with rich font styles, colors, images, links, and more.
Create and collaborate with Groups (Outlook): Want to create an Office 365 Group in Outlook? No problem! Add and remove members, too. Collaboration on the Mac just got easier.
Add visual impact (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook): Bring visual interest to your documents, worksheets, presentations, and messages by inserting Scalable Vector Graphics (SVG) that have filters applied to them.
Try these new features and provide feedback to Office Insider team to further refine them before releasing to general public.
