Koushik Dutta, .Net virtuoso has done it again. A mere 24 hours after a member of the xda-developers forum made a request, he has already produced a polished piece of Alarm Clock software that takes advantage of the hardware of the HTC Touch Diamond.
The software, dubbed Klaxon, is more or less like the standard Clocks and Alarms application, but features G-senson integration, meaning you can flip your phone over to snooze and shake your phone to turn the alarm off.
The fully functional freeware can already be downloaded now, but Koushik plans to polish it further by adding artwork, the ability to turn off the alarm if the light comes on in the room (using the Light Sensor API) and to turn on the phone light for 15 seconds, so you would have a chance to turn off the alarm before it goes off.
Download the software from KoushikDutta.com. The software is freeware, but Koushik is taking donations, and for the massive contribution he has already made in only a short period of time I cant think of anyone more deserving.
