Journey, the beautiful and iconic game that captured the hearts of thousands of gamers many years ago, has received a surprise release on iOS devices.
The game was originally a PlayStation exclusive for an entire 7 years, before finally coming to PC in May of this year. The PC port, however, is an Epic exclusive.

If you haven’t played Journey, stop reading this now and go pick it up on PlayStation 3, 4, PC, or iOS. It’s the kind of game you want to go into while knowing as little as possible about it.
If you don’t mind mild spoilers, just know that you play as a mysterious robed figure on a journey through desert landscapes.
This isn’t thatgamecompany’s first iOS rodeo – the free-to-play Sky: Children of the Light released on iOS just a couple of weeks ago.
In Sky, you play as one of many Sky Children, who aim to spread hope through a desolate kingdom and return fallen Stars to their constellations.
Flower, another game from thatgamecompany, is also available thanks to Annapurna Interactive’s porting skill. In Flower, you control the wind and make your way through beautiful landscapes, searching for your special song.
Journey costs $4.99/£4.99 and can be picked up on the App Store by searching for ‘Journey’ or following the link here.
