While banking apps have been a problem in USA, in the rest of the world they seem to be flooding into the Windows Phone platform.
The latest to arrive is the official app for Italy’s largest bank, Intesa Sanpaolo Bank called La tua banca or “Your Bank.”
The app offers information about your accounts, and the ability to transfer money, top up cards and phone cards and pay bills.
It also features Quick Access, which lets you have a glance at your information without having to enter your authentication code. This feature is optional and can be activated in Settings.
The service is available for those who have agreed to “services over the Internet, and Mobile Phone” from the following banks in the Intesa Sanpaolo Group: Intesa Sanpaolo, Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking, Banco di Napoli, the Bank of Trento and Bolzano, Bank of the Adriatic, Cassa di Risparmio di Forlì and Romagna, Veneto Savings Bank, Savings Bank of Friuli Venezia Giulia, Cassa di Risparmio di Bologna, Cassa di Risparmio di Civitavecchia, Next Bank, Cassa di Risparmio di Pistoia and Lucca, Banca Cassa di Florence Savings, Savings Banks Umbria, Cassa di Risparmio di Rieti, Savings Bank of the Province of Viterbo, Banca Monte Parma.
