When we posted yesterday about the Lumia 950 XL also coming in Cyan (via evLeaks) we paid more attention to the colour of the case than the actual logo, included in the same tweet, but perhaps we should have.

The leak of course is consistent with other rumours that Microsoft’s new flagship Windows Phones will have a metallic logo on the back of the device.
The new logo contrasts with the current version (below) which is less prominent and includes the Microsoft name.
Of course it is not yet clear of the logo will replace the current version on all handsets, or if its for Microsoft’s own high end devices only.
It does however feel like a positive change, and if not garish in size should add a slightly higher end feel to Microsoft’s windows mobile range.
