Is Microsoft secretly behind the Nokia Normandy?

The Nokia Normandy is rapidly working its way to market, and many have assumed it was a move by Nokia to bolster their market share, and that it was against and independent of Microsoft’s influence.

However there is very clear evidence of Microsoft’s influence on the handset – its not an OHA handset, will run forked version of Android without Google apps and services, and will substitute Microsoft’s services instead, and then there is the code-name – Nokia Normandy.

Normandy was of course the location of the invasion of the Allies against the evil empire, and in this case it very much looks like Nokia and Microsoft are looking to counter-attack and take back some market share from Google.

Do our readers agree that Microsoft fully supports the Nokia Normandy, and will definitely bring it to market? Let us know below.
