Is AT&T preparing for the end of the iPhone exclusivity?

There is something strange brewing in the air. Out of nowhere, we had a barrage of WP7 devices rumored, or somewhat confirmed coming to AT&T. We have also heard stories over the years that the iPhone will finally break free of the AT&T stranglehold, and appear on other carriers especially Verizon. In order to counteract this loss, I think AT&T is hedging all its bets with WP7 because if you look closely, they have never really fully committed to the Android platform either like Verizon has, and furthermore, after the Kin debacle, I don’t think MS has that much faith in the Big red. All AT&T has remaining as a premier consumer Smartphone OS ends up being WP7(I think Blackberry still appeals more to the enterprise even with the 6.0 release and future of WebOS on the Palm Pre is uncertain) What do you guys think?
