Windows 10 mobile users may have noticed that the new Whatsapp updates, including the stickers, haven’t arrived as promised. Whatsapp have reportedly taken a break from working on the app to focus on another project.
With Silverlight exiting support in 2021, there is increasing pressure on Whatsapp to develop and perfect a Universal Windows app. Rumours that Microsoft and Whatsapp will team up to work in a UWP have been circulating since June 2018.
Now popular WhatsApp leaker WABetaInfo is teasing that Facebook has been working on a UWP app for Windows.
