IRCTC Windows Phone app

IRCTC (Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation) has just released a update for it’s Windows Phone app. The app lets users schedule their rail travel using Windows Phone. The app however maintains v1.0.0.0 but has included a couple of new features which may come handy. Head below to check the official changelog.

  • Performance improvements.
  • User can login using IRCTC password or TPIN.
  • User Can view the notification with login to App.
  • Notification delivered as toast messages.

The latest update gives users a option to login via TPIN or the IRCTC website password which is a very nice addition as you don’t have to head to the website to generate TPIN at the time of login. Other additions include Toast Notifications which is a equally useful feature.
