iOS 13.2 will let you delete your Siri history

Apple this year came under fire for allowing third-party contractors to listen to Siri recordings, potentially violating the privacy of their users. The company apologised, shut down the Siri grading program temporarily and promised to make changes.

Now, in iOS 13.2 Beta, we’ve seen some of these changes. The firm now allow you to continue to use Siri without transmitting your data over for analysis, it also lets you nuke all your data at the tap of a button.

Apple earlier promised to halt Siri grading until it had implemented certain changes in iOS.

“Users will be able to opt in to help Siri improve by learning from the audio samples of their requests,” Apple said earlier this year. “We hope that many people will choose to help Siri get better, knowing that Apple respects its data and has strong privacy controls in place. Those who choose to participate will be able to opt out at any time. ”

It appears that this was the fall update the firm was referring to.
