WPDang has had a hands-on with a Windows Phone 8 handset and managed to uncover some so-far unknown features, some which may be unique to China and others which may show up everywhere.
One that will probably be available to all of us is that IE10 will apparently be able to download web pages for off-line viewing, and also save a web page as a picture.
Another element which may show up elsewhere is that PayPal is integrated in the Chinese Windows Phone 8 handset as a Payment option, which provides an interesting alternative to carrier charging for those who do not have credit cards.
Unique Chinese features is the presence if Sina Weibo Micro-blogging integrated in Windows Phone 8, which has been rumoured but not confirmed before.
WPDang also notes that the phone supports Chinese voice command, but that it could do with some work.
Microsoft is unveiling Windows Phone 8 properly on the 29th October, and will hopefully provide us with a comprehensive list of features and improvements in their new mobile OS.
