Tracking groups of users in motion capture system:

In a motion capture system, a unitary input is provided to an application based on detected movement and/or location of a group of people. Audio information from the group can also be used as an input. The application can provide real-time feedback to the person or group via a display and audio output. The group can control the movement of an avatar in a virtual space based on the movement of each person in the group, such as in a steering or balancing game. To avoid a discontinuous or confusing output by the application, missing data can be generated for a person who is occluded or partially out of the field of view. A wait time can be set for activating a new person and deactivating a currently-active person. The wait time can be adaptive based on a first detected position or a last detected position of the person.

Handwriting style data input via keys :

The subject disclosure pertains to an input system and method. Patterns can be received with respect to one or more keys. Based in part on selected keys, a pattern can be identified or inferred. Accordingly, a user is able to gesture over or with respect to a keypad to input data. More particularly, data can be entered by handwriting or drawing patterns representing characters, among other things, utilizing keys or like mechanisms.

Generating gigapixel images:

A gigapixel image is generated from a set of images in raw format depicting different portions of a panoramic scene that has up to a full spherical field of view. Radiometric alignment of the images creates a set of images in radiance format. Geometric alignment of the radiance format images creates a set of true poses for the images in radiance format. A gigapixel image depicting the entire scene is assembled from the set of radiance format images and radiance format true poses for the images. The set of images in raw format is captured using a conventional digital camera, equipped with a telephoto lens, attached to a motorized head. The head is programmed to pan and tilt the camera in prescribed increments to individually capture the images at a plurality of exposures and with a prescribed overlap between images depicting adjacent portions of the scene.

Depicting a speech user interface via graphical elements :
Depiction of a speech user interface via graphical elements is provided. One or more bits of a graphical user interface bitmask are re-designated as speech bits. When a software application processes the re-designated speech bits, a window manager responsible for generating and rendering a graphical user interface for the application passes information to a secondary window manager responsible for generating and rendering a speech user interface. The secondary speech window manager may load a text-to-speech engine, a speech recognizer engine, a lexicon or library of recognizable words or phrases and a set of “grammars” (recognizable words and phrasing) for building a speech user interface that will receive, recognize and act on spoken input to the associated software application.

Automated capture of information generated at meetings

Meeting information is collected in an automatic or automated manner utilizing user devices among other devices likely to be present at meetings. Devices can detect the occurrence of a meeting and initiate data capture. Subsequently, aggregated data can be processed to facilitate access and/or dissemination of the data. For instance, data can be contextualized and/or indexed. Further, data can be generated in or converted to forms more suitable for information distribution (e.g., summary, points of interest . . . ).

Browser session overview
A method includes storing one or more resource identifiers identifying one or more associated resources visited using a browser application, and presenting the resource identifiers in an order designated by one of a plurality of history presentation settings and resource navigation context specifications. The history presentation setting and navigation context can be selected by a user. Exemplary history presentation settings include chronological and domain-name grouped. Exemplary navigation context includes resource identifier, such as name, URI, or domain of the currently viewed resource. The method may further include presenting a thumbnail when a pointer icon is positioned over one of the resource identifiers. A system includes a navigation event capture module storing resource identifiers identifying associated visited resources in a navigation history and an overview module ordering the resource identifiers in an order designated by one of a plurality of history presentation settings and resource navigation context specifications
