Intel is planning to unveil the 8th Generation (codenamed Coffee Lake) Intel Core processor family on on Aug. 21. Gregory Bryant, senior vice president of the Client Computing Group at Intel will share the details on the latest processor family and what it can help you do.
8th Gen Intel Core processors will be manufactured on the same 14nm process and it will offer up to 30% improved performance on certain compute tasks. But they are more power efficient and come in 4 variants, Coffee Lake-U, Coffee Lake-X, Coffee Lake-S, Coffee Lake-H. The range is expected to include both dual-core and 4+2 and 6+2 core chips with the GT2 integrated graphics solution.
