Intel Shows Thunderbolt Running On Windows(Video)

While Apple made Thunderblot technology default in their machines these days, Windows machines from various OEM’s had USB 3.0 to answer that. Soon Apple’s exclusivity of Thunderbolt will end as the technology is coming to Windows PCs in 2012 from Acer and ASUS. To prove that, Engadget had a chance to experience Thunderbolt on Windows at IDF. Intel showed playback of four 1080p video streams with 700MB of throughput off a PCIe attached SSD using Thunderbolt. Get ready to experience the Thunderbolt.
