Intel Compute Stick Roadmap Leaked, Core M Processor And 4GB Model Coming Later This Year

We already know well about Intel Compute Stick which turns any display into a full-blown PC. While the current generation Intel Compute Stick is now available on sale from various retailers, the roadmap of it got leaked online today. Intel is planning to release a newer version of it codenamed Cedar City in Q4 later this year.

It will feature the following,

  • Intel Core M processor
  • 4GB of RAM
  • 64GB of SATA storage
  • USB 3.0
  • 802.11ac WiFi
  • Support for 4K displays
  • MHL

In early 2016, we will see another version codenamed Falls City 2 coming to the market. It will be powered by Intel Atom chips based on the upcoming “Broxton” architecture with 4K display support.
