During an investor meeting in Santa Clara, Intel CEO Brian Krzanich revealed that Bay Trail tablets with a 64-bit version of Microsoft’s Windows 8.1 will be released in the first quarter next year. Apple’s iPad Air and iPad Mini with Retina Display already have the A7 64-bit processor which improves application and graphics performance in devices. Intel revealed this information to let everyone know that they are not far behind Apple in terms of CPU processor power and efficiency. Also Intel expects to sell 40 million Intel based tablets next year.
