Its not often that Microsoft is pro-active, but when it came to addressing the home automation desires of Windows Phone users they did not wait for the slow natural process of the market to bring the devices to Windows Phone.
They partnered with Insteon, long time home automation specialists, and the company has today started selling their home automation kits in the Windows Phone Store.
Three kits are available: A Starter, Home and Business kit for $199.99, $299.99 and $499.99 respectively.
The starter kit lets you remotely control lights and appliances, set schedules for your devices, receive text message and email alerts and even see your home through a WiFi camera.
