Instagraph Windows Phone Instagram uploader launches with massive teething problems

Despite being a somewhat pricy app and with all the restrictions added to prevent being swamped, the Instragraph app, which finally allows Windows Phone users to upload pictures to the Instagram photo sharing social network, has been experiencing great difficulties out of the gate.

Of those the most serious issue is probably uploading other people’s pictures into a user’s Instagram feed, something which could range from a mere annoyance to very embarrassing, given the nature of some Instagram pictures. The issue stems from the service retaining your user name and password on their cloud service and due to pictures having to queue to upload.

After this issue the other problems seems minor – long waits for pictures to be uploaded, and sometimes the service not being available at all, generating error codes when users try and access it.

Of course we are only on day 1 of this bold experiment, and it will be interesting to see if this work-around will end up becoming a reliable service we can all depend on for our Instagram fix, or if it will go down in flames for one reason or another very soon.
