Instagram will soon let you browse AR effects created by others

Many hold the view that craze for smartphones is over and the spotlight is expected to shift to the AR(Augmented Reality). And now a lot of tech companies are joining the AR bandwagon including Facebook.

Speaking of Facebook, the company is now planning to introduce a new feature that will let you browse the AR effects created by others. You will be able to choose various effects such as Selfies, Love, Color & Light, Camera Styles, Moods, and more.

Thanks to Instagram’s recent Stories Camera UI dial-like redesign, once you’re trying out AR Effects, you’ll be able to scroll through the other Effects within the same category and try them out too, according to reverse engineer Wong who first spotted the new feature.

The feature is currently in the testing phase and will hit the public once it is ready.
