Facebook has updated the Instagram app for Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile, adding a feature which I am not sure is terribly desired.
The app will now let users capture images directly with their PC webcam, which I am sure will produce great quality pictures. It does, however, suggests that the app is now using more native APIs in Windows 10, which is always great news.
Version 10.913.38071 of the app will now also display previews of links received via the app, much like Facebook Messenger and WhatsApp, and there are other minor changes such as a new icon for the Suggested People tab and other bug fixes and improvements.
The updated app can be found in the Windows Store here.
