InFocus today announced the new Kangaroo Notebook, a modular laptop PC. It will be made available as a packaged bundle, the Kangaroo Notebook pairs a lightweight laptop dock, with two interchangeable Kangaroo Mini PCs running Windows 10.

Whether you are a parent with young children looking for both a family PC and a personal PC or a user looking to keep information separate for different uses and want autonomy and storage for both, this mobile computing bundle provides two separate PC’s with their own storage, safety and security. Parents may choose to store important financial and personal information on one Mini PC module and dedicate the second module to games, movies and apps for the family.

The swappable computing modules are low-end mini PCs. They come with 2GB of RAM, 32GB of eMMC storage, and an Intel Z8350 Cherrytrail CPU. The 11.6″ HD laptop dock features a full keyboard, Synaptics Clickpad, battery, webcam, ports, a microphone, and speakers.

The Kangaroo Notebook will be available in the US only on Newegg.com for the price of $299.99 and it will be shipping in mid-October, just in time for the 2016 Holiday season.
