Indie makes good–AmusedSloth gets to make a Xbox Live game

Many indie developers have complained that Xbox Live status seems to be confined to games which have already proven themselves popular on competing platforms, rather than home-grown efforts.

AmusedSloth, who makes Chicks Can Dream, which scored 5/5 in our review, seems to have finally vaulted that invisible barrier, with the game’s successor Chicks Can’t Fly being confirmed as an Xbox Live game coming this fall.

Xbox Live games are known to perform much better sales and revenue-wise compared to other games on Windows phone 7, and this development should give hope to developers that there is indeed a brass ring they can be reaching for.
