The Huawei Ascend W1 is now available at Amazon.de. The Windows Phone 8 handset is available for less than 200 Euro, and until the Nokia Lumia 520 becomes available will be the cheapest Windows Phone 8 handset available on the continent.
The handset features a 1.2 Ghz dual core processor, 4 inch WVGA screen, 5 megapixel camera and 512 MB RAM.
The availability of cheap Windows Phones has seen a boost in Windows Phone growth, and hopefully this new handset will continue to help the OS reach into new markets and increase its market share.
