Digitimes reports that the HTC Whitestone, the HTC Touch HD-like Windows Mobile 6.1 device is still coming to Verizon in the next few month.

The device uniquely features some form of TV integration although whether it is broadcast or streaming is now known yet.

Unfortunately the Whitestone is not expected to feature a next generation processor, which will likely limit its appeal.

The previously leaked specs are:

  • WM6.1
  • Qualcomm 7600 @ 528MHz
  • 512MB ROM/256MB RAM
  • 3.6-inch WVGA touchscreen
  • 5-megapixel autofocus camera/Anti-handshaking
  • gpsOne (aGPS and full GPS)
  • GSM/CDMA World phone

The device is expected to arrive around September to October on Verizon.
