The biggest Windows Mobile phone, the HTC Shift, has just received a new set of drivers. These drivers are not for the Windows Mobile part, but for the Vista partition. Users report that all the drivers in the pack are more recent than on the shipped device, and that the device certainly feels snappier in use with these. The driver pack should also make it easier to re-install Vista from scratch while still using the specific rather than generic drivers for the hardware.

Download it from HTC’s site here. Users have reported the download works better with Firefox than Internet Explorer.
