HTC 8X And HTC 8S Wins Red Dot Design Award For 2013

Windows Phone 8X by HTC and the Windows Phone 8S by HTC have won the “red dot award: product design 2013”. Red dot award is one of the world’s largest and most respected design competitions.

Prof. Dr. Peter Zec, initiator and CEO of the red dot design award, said: “HTC’s Windows Phone 8X and 8S not only demonstrated an extraordinary design quality, but also showed that design is an integral part of innovative product solutions. We are pleased to award the ‘red dot’ to HTC.”

In 2013, over 1,865 designers and companies from 54 countries submitted over 4,600 products and projects to compete for the coveted Red dot design awards. The award winning devices Windows Phone 8X by HTC and the Windows Phone 8S by HTC will be displayed at the red dot design museum in Germany and the online exhibition, as well as in the red dot design yearbook.
