At CES, HP introduced EliteBook Folio, its premium business notebook to take on Apple MacBook. Weighing less than 2.2 lb/1kg, EliteBook Folio is designed to turn heads with a polished diamond-cut CNC aluminum durable body. The ultra-thin design features a 180-degree unique piano hinge to lay completely flat for easy sharing with others. WSJ today reported that HP is going to reveal a premium Windows device targeting general consumers at an event tomorrow in Versailles, France, organized by the New York Times. WSJ reports that it may be the thinnest laptop in the market.
“For years, Apple has been seen as the innovator and the driver of innovation,” said Ron Coughlin, president of HP’s personal systems group. “HP is really taking over that mantle.”
EliteBook Folio is measured at 12.5 millimetres thick, but this upcoming laptop is expected to be even thinner. Are you excited about this HP device?
