ce4you.cz insists their first impression posts is not a review, but its more detailed than many reviews I have seen.
They have given the elusive HP Data Messenger a good going over and are relatively happy with the device. The business-focused smartphone eschews the fashionable OS overlays for pure, functional and unadulterated Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional. Of course the hardware does have its own little twists, from the optical D-Pad to the capacitive keypad, ringer switch and even a proximity sensor that turns the screen of when you bring it to your face while in a call, and kindly enough does the opposite when you remove it.
See the video (in Czech) below for the device in action. Of note (to me at least) is that the device appears much more attractive in its glossy black shell than I first imagined.
