We have seen several Chromebooks from various Windows OEMs in the past, but all of them were based on either Intel or some low-end ARM processor. HP is changing that today by announcing world’s first AMD-based Chromebook. This new Chromebook 14 is powered by AMD A4/A6 CPUs with integrated Radeon R4/R5 graphics for improved performance. It comes with dual Speakers and Audio by B&O for an enriched audio experience.

The Chromebook 14 measures just 18.35mm and the 180-degree hinge will allow users to use it in different modes. HP will make this device available in three color options: white, blue and gray.
