Hike working to improve their Windows Phone app, starting a private beta program

Its good to see a company investing time and energy into improving their Windows Phone app, and in this case it is Hike Messenger who is making the commitment.

Hike is a messaging app popular in India which specializes in privacy, allowing one for example to easily not display your status or availability if you do not want to be disturbed, and to make certain chat streams password protected so no-one can see them even if you hand them your phone.

They have now started a beta program with the intent to make their app even better, writing:

Hike Messenger has opened pre-registrations for its Windows Phone BETA app. In total 100 BETA testers are to be selected at the sole-discretion of Hike. Hike plans to build a community of Power-Users (BETA Testers) which will help them build a better app for the Windows Phone platform. Hike also has plans to run a Bug-Bounty program & other contests on their BETA community.
