Hey, @LondonMidland , there are more than two mobile platforms!

When it comes to apps, Windows Phone users are pretty used to being served last, but given the good progress the OS has made in terms of market share in the UK, it is pretty rare these days to have the existence of the mobile OS completely negated.

On the surface, at least judging by the poster above by London Midland, it seems like London Midland, a company that sells train tickets, has never heard of any other OS besides iOS and Android, and are proudly telling the world they are now delivering apps for “both platforms” in a poster spotted on a trail today.

Interestingly enough on the page linked they do acknowledge Blackberry and Windows Phone, stating:

Will you be developing the app for other Smartphones such as Windows and Blackberry?

We hope to. In the meantime though, please use our mobile website

This I think makes their poster even more dismissive of Windows Phone, which after all has had around 10% market share in UK for many months now.

From the page it seems London Midland are eager to receive feedback from users.  We suggest letting them know how their campaign is being received on their twitter, Facebook page and Contact Form.
