HealthVault Goes Mobile With Windows Phone Support

Last week I missed a major announcement from Microsoft, its regarding HealthVault. HealthVault, is a online platform to store and maintain health and fitness information of users and they can access it anywhere through healthvault.com website. Recently Microsoft announced the support for Healthvault on mobile. When you visit HealthVault website from your mobile, you will be greeted by new mobile site with support for openID and Facebook login options. Microsoft is also supporting multiple mobile platforms by providing open-source client libraries. For each mobile client they will provide a HealthVault interfacing library, a getting started guide and a sample application. WP7 HealthVault Library is already live while iOS and Android to follow. If you are an developer interested in Health focused applications, then you may try it or If you are a HealthVault user, expect loads of new HealthVault apps to join the old ones in the marketplace.
