Google’s revolutionary Night Sight camera feature now available for Pixel phones

Google announced the new Night Sight camera feature back last month with the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. While soon after the announcement, we saw people tearing apart the Pixel 3 Google Camera APK to get the feature which was still in beta, today the company is rolling it out officially.

Google announced the news in a blog post detailing their revolutionary technology and it went ahead and compared the pictures taken on Pixel 3 with iPhone XS. No doubt, Pixel 3 beats the iPhone XS in night photography (or at least Google claims it does). Moreover, Google also shared how Night Sight works which, in a nutshell, works using AI to understand the surroundings at the night and adding light as well as balancing the colours accordingly. You can read in detail about the working of Night Sight on Google’s blog. Google has also shared some of the tips of Pixel owners who plan to use the feature.

Google said that the feature will be rolling out to Pixel devices as an update to the Google Camera app in the coming days. You can head to the Play Store to manually check for updates or wait for your device to automatically download the update.
