Google’s Pixel 3 smartphones land on October 9

Google’s worst kept secrets, the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 Xl will be landing next month – October 9.

The firm has announced that it would be launching its next smartphones in New York next month.

As per leaks, we already know much of that will be in these two smartphones. They will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 645 chipset with 4GB of RAM. They will ship with dual front cameras and a single 12-megapixel front camera because Goole knows what’s really important. The smaller Pixel 3 will be 5.5 inches (the size of larger smartphones in the past), while the larger Pixel 3 XL will be 6.2 inches diagonally. The larger one will have a notch, while the smaller one will retain the near bezel-less look of the Pixel 2 series. They are expected to ship with Android Pie.

Unfortunately for the firm, the Pixel 3 Xl has already been leaked and scrutinized from all angles due to an incident credited to a break-in at a Foxconn factory.

While we have seen the phone in action, we haven’t really “See” t as such. Hopefully, Google has more to show when they launch the devices at their New York event.
