Google rolls out a major update for its Measure app, now available for all phone with ARCore

Google has rolled out a new update for its Measure app. The latest update is actually a major update to the app which now supports ARCore. Earlier Measure app was available just for Google’s augmented reality (AR) platform Tango.

With the latest update, Google will let every phone that supports Google ARCore and has Android 7.0 or above use Measure app. With this app, Google plans to directly go in competition with Apple who recently showed off their own Measure app that uses ARkit to work.   • Measure now works on all phones supported by ARCore.
  • New UI with improved visualization and controls

The latest update can be downloaded from the Google Play Store below. Do note that you first need to install ARCore to use the app.
