Only a few days after expanding the number of users who can test phone screen mirroring on their PCs using Microsoft’s Your Phone app, the team announced that they will also be testing the synchronization of phone notifications to your PC.

The roll-out is “staged”, meaning not everyone will have access immediately, so it is not clear if notifications will pop up on your screen or be confined to the Your Phone app.
With the adoption of the feature, the app will replace one reason to use Cortana on your smartphone, as Cortana also has the ability to mirror notifications from your phone to your PC.
