Today Microsoft has released an update for Windows 10 19H2 to Windows 10 Insiders who are in the Release Preview ring or who are on Build 18362.10024.

The update takes the OS to Build 18363.418. Microsoft has not said what is new, but has warned Windows 10 Insiders in the Slow Ring that if they do not switch to Release Preview Ring they will soon be updated to  Windows 10 20H1 “very shortly”.

Microsoft has already released Windows 10 19h2 ISO to MSDN and is expected to release the OS to the public early in November.

The update is relatively minor and includes the addition of Windows Search to the File Explorer, the ability to activate 3rd party voice assistants on the lock screen, the ability to create appointments from the calendar fly-out, small notification improvements, and the ability for admins to bypass Windows 10 S app restrictions.
