German company Shift Phones has just announced their latest project, the Shift+5.
The 5 inch handset will feature modern specs, including a Qualcomm octa-core processor, more than 2 GB RAM, a large 2500 to 3000 mAh battery and at least 32 GB of storage + microSD card expansion.
More interesting however is that the device will be able to run both Android and Windows 10, though its not clear if it will be able to dual-boot or just be available in both versions.
The device will feature a modular design which will make it easy to rapidly exchange the various components, ranging from the display to other internal components.
The handset is entering its final design stage this December, and Shift hopes to bring it to the market by Q3 2016.
If the idea takes your fancy you can support it now by pre-ordering the device now for 399 Euro, before the price goes up after December to 444 Euro.
The pre-order page can be found here.
