Game Review: Spider

Looking for a fast and simple Spider Solitaire game? Check out Spider!

Overall Score: 4/5

Spider is a great basic Spider Solitaire game. If you want some extra features, you’ll have to look elsewhere, but if you simply want Spider Solitaire, this is a great choice and is free!

Gameplay: 4/5

The controls in Spider work really well. You can tap and drag cards, or tap and then tap for the destination. When the card stacks become very tall, you can scroll up and down just like you would expect. Spider also has an Undo button that continues as far as you would like, and a Hint button in case you’re stuck. You can also change between having only one suit of cards (easiest), two suits, or four. So overall, the game plays exactly like you would expect.

Presentation: 4/5

Spider loads super fast, and has a very clean presentation. Also, in a few days from now, the Mango update will be released adding multitasking. Presentation would be a 5/5 if the game had more sound effects and possibly some background music.

Lasting Value: 4/5

Spider Solitaire can last quite awhile. In order to extend lasting value, the game has the three different difficulty settings and a score tracker. However, Spider doesn’t have online scores or any other unique features to increase your lasting value. Nevertheless, it’s fun!qrcode
