Game Review: Doodle God

Can you create the world from just a few elements?

Overall Score: 4/5

Doodle God has excellent lasting value, addicting gameplay, and fluid presentation. Unfortunately, it’s not Mango enabled.

Gameplay: 4/5

This game is surprisingly fun. While Doodle God sounds like it could be dumb and pointless, you’ll probably find yourself having plenty of fun playing it. Some elements don’t combine like you think they should, but that simply challenges you to be more creative and find something new. And when you get stuck, you can use the hint button every 3-4 minutes in order to get a clue. This hint system keeps the game going but still requires you to try and find things yourself. Plus, Doodle God has a bunch of separate modes and mini-games to explore!

Presentation: 2/5

As I have said before, any Xbox Live game not supporting Mango will score significantly lower in presentation. Anyways, the visuals are nice, the elements open and close extremely quickly, the interface is fluid, and the sound effects/music are good.

Lasting Value: 5/5

You’re going to get tons of lasting value from Doodle God. I would say it is around 10 hours or more if you include the extra game modes. Plus you of course have achievements and leaderboards. Doodle God makes your $2.99 go far!qrcode
