Game Review: Danger Wing

Danger Wing is a fun 2D shooter with some great lasting value.

Overall Score: 4/5

The variation in gameplay is great, and the lasting value is excellent!

Gameplay: 4/5

The game has some great variation and is an enjoyable arcade shooter. However, nothing about the gameplay makes it more unique than other shooters, and therefore doesn’t deserve a 5/5. Nevertheless, the controls work well and it doesn’t get boring!

Presentation: 4/5

While the visuals are decent, they almost seem too cluttered and busy while playing. The music is a good touch though and the explosions look pretty good. Plus, the game actually includes a story which is neat and adds some extra entertainment!

Lasting Value: 5/5

For a 2D space shooter, this game has a lot of lasting value. Completing the campaign can take between half an hour to an hour, and the developer is working to add another chapter too! Then, you can play the challenges, where you try to survive as long as possible. You can also compete in the great leaderboards, and replay the campaign for a higher score.
