We ran a poll a few weeks ago which controversially suggested Samsung was the top Windows Phone 7 OEM. Now game data from Occasional Gamer, produced from analytics produced from their game Impossible Shoota, which had more than 26000 downloads, suggests that HTC may still be ruling the Microsoft mobile OS roost.
From a total of 13400 reports we discover that HTC has 56% of the market, Samsung only 33% and LG 11%. Dell predictably brought up the rear, but surprisingly the Asus E600 also made a presence, with 32 devices being represented.

In terms of the most popular devices, the HTC HD7 and the Samsung Focus were both contenders, but with the HTC HD7 released both in Europe and USA, the combined total of 26% beat the 23% of devices represented by the Samsung Focus.
The HTC 7 Mozart was next with 12%, followed by the Samsung Omnia 7 with 10%.
The starts also revealed an unannounced device, the HTC Mazaa, at present of unknown provenance, but we will do some more digging shortly.
