Gadgets app updated with improvements for connected accessories

gadgets update

Microsoft has pushed out an update to the Gadgets app for Windows phone users on the production ring.

The version number to look out for is  4.4.1609.200, making use of Microsoft new versioning system. There’s no changelog attached, and it doesn’t seem to be available to the insider fast rings yet – but some users are claiming that it improves the support of their DT-900 charging plate, which is now working as it should after being “broken” in a previous update. There’s also mention of Bluetooth accessories now being connected more reliably.

GroupMe also picked up an update to version 2.8.5.0, but there’s nothing more than bug fixes present.
