Specs of smartphone getting leaked well before the launch event are something that has now become a trend. One of the bright sides of it being the fact that you don’t need to wait until the launch date to know what’s inside a smartphone.

Asus’s upcoming gaming smartphone, the Asus ROG phone II has met the same fate; full specification of the ASUS ROG Phone successor has been leaked on the internet (via Slashleaks).

According to the latest leak, the ROG Phone II will be rocking a Snapdragon 855 Plus processor, which as per Qualcomm, will significantly improve the gaming performance on smartphones. The gaming smartphone will feature a 6.59-inch FHD+ (2340×1080) AMOLED display. It will have a huge 24MP front-facing camera and dual rear camera, one of them being a 48MP shooter. Other specs include 8GB/12GB RAM, 128GB/512GB/1TB storage capacity, and a 5800mAh battery.

The smartphone measures 170.99 x 77.6 x 9.78mm and weighs 240g.

We still don’t know anything about the release date of the Asus ROG II smartphone. But given the fact that the full specs of any smartphone leak a few days prior to the release date, we can say that the ROG Phone II is going to be launched sooner than you think.
