From the current generation of Windows Phone 7 handsets the Fujitsu IS12T is certainly the most interesting, given its unique features like a being water and dust proof and its 13.2 megapixel camera.
Up till now however we believed the handset was destined to remain Japan-only, but Sogi.com.tw reports that this will in fact not be the case, with the smartphone coming to Taiwan in October.
The phone is both CDMA and GSM, and Sogi reports it is 3G capable with both technologies.
Who knows, maybe the phone will rock up on western shores also.
Sogi also solves one of the mysteries of the handset – how it could have a 13.2 megapixel camera when the Qualcomm chipset only supports a maximum of 12. Â It revealed the phone uses Fujitsu’s own Milbeaut Mobile graphics chip can in fact manage up to 20 megapixel stills and 1080p video.
