Fossil has teased their new smart watch, the Android Wear-based Fossil Q.
The device consists of 3 components – a connected bracelet, a connected non-display watch, and a round face display watch that runs on Android Wear.
Each connected piece has a companion app and activity tracker that lets you track your daily movement, manage which notifications you want to receive, and join a community of curious-minded individuals.
The device can track steps, calories and offer daily inspirational quotes.
Bracelet is available in HIS and HER styles and offer a range of strap colors and materials. The device was recently shown off at the Baja East and Dion Lee fashion shows in New York.
Unusually Fossil is promising Windows compatibility, saying:
Compatible with Android, iOs and Windows software
Yep, you read that correctly! No need to get a specific phone to use our connected accessories.
At this point it is not clear if Fossil means Windows, Windows Phone, or a universal Windows 10 app. We have asked and will get back to our readers with the answer.
The Fossil Q will be available this holiday season online and in stores.
