Ford substitutes Microsoft for Blackberry for the new Sync

Ford has substituted Microsoft for Blackberry to power the new Sync system in its’ cars.

Bill Gates’ partnership with Bill Ford has kept Microsoft in partnership with Ford since 2007. Due to recent customer complaints, which includes system lock ups and phone connection issues, Ford was forced to reconsider their previous partnership. It seems that Ford has begun to believe in Blackberry’s tablet-like UI to raise customer satisfaction.

The new Sync 3 will bring pinch-to-zoom gestures, better speech commands, and better integration with Apple devices. According to Don Butler, executive director of connected vehicles and services, you will be able to see Sync 3 on more than half of the Ford and Lincoln cars by late 2016.
