As leaked by their own billboard, Huawei has today shown off their folding smartphone, the Huawei Mate X.
The device uses an outward-folding design which is generally easier to build but usually bulkier, but the company appears to have overcome this issue with a design which looks thin both when folded, but especially when opened.
According to Slashleaks, the device is said to feature an asymmetric fold with 6.6-inch on one side and 6.2-inch on the other, totalling 8 inches when unfolded, and is powered by a Kirin 980 processor and 4500 mAh battery, and includes a quad rear camera + dual front camera.
