Fitbit updates their Windows 10 app with user interface improvements

Fitbit has released an update to their Windows 10 UWP app, taking it to version 2.25.1218.0.

No formal changelog has been released, but the update fixes an important UI issue which was affecting Windows 10 Mobile users with smaller screens.

Previously on the Notification page some items were below the fold, and scrolling was not enabled for the page, meaning users were unable to access the last toggle.

The update appears to address this issue, and likely includes further minor UI improvements.

We also believe version 2.25 of the app includes a number of under the hood improvements to support Fitbit’s new smartwatch range, but this will likely only be revealed in the course of time.

Fitbit has been defying the trend recently in their ongoing support for Windows and Windows Mobile, and has just announced the Fitbit Ionic with promised full support for Windows 10, meaning the popular fitness tracker should likely be the platform of choice for Microsoft fans.

The UWP Fitbit app can be found in the Windows Store for both phones and PCs.
