Fitbit has acknowledged its purchase by Google a year ago by finally releasing support for Google Assistant on their fitness-focused smartwatch.
Fitbit OS 5.1 has been released for the Sense and Versa 3, and brings a toggle which lets users select between Alexa and Google Assistant.
The update also adds SpO2 monitoring while sleeping using any watch face, and also 7 new SpO2 watch faces.
Lastly, the update adds the ability to receive calls on your smartwatch and the ability to dictate responses to text messages.
Unfortunately, the update is only being released for the Fitbit Sense and Fitbit Versa 3, and no versions of older generation devices.
